Viewer intros on Twitch, Kick and YouTube with Streamer.bot

Twitch, Kick and YouTube don't tell tools when a viewer quietly joins — so the reliable trigger for a personal intro is a supporter's first chat message of the stream. Streamer.bot (free) does this on all three platforms. Here's the setup.

1. Prepare OBS

  1. Add a Media Source called 'Supporter Intro' and pick any intro .webm.
  2. Untick Loop, then hide the source (click the eye) — Streamer.bot will show it when needed.

2. Connect Streamer.bot

  1. In Streamer.bot, connect OBS under Stream Apps → OBS.
  2. Connect your platform under Platforms (Twitch, Kick or YouTube).

3. Build the action

  1. Actions → Add → name it after the supporter.
  2. Triggers → Add → your platform → Chat → First Words, limited to the supporter's username.
  3. Sub-actions: set the 'Supporter Intro' media source file to their .webm, show the source, add a delay of about 6.5 seconds, then hide it.
  4. Repeat for each supporter.

On Kick, 'First Words' resets after 12 hours by default — change it under Platforms → Kick if you stream longer.
