How to set up supporter intros in TikFinity
Supporter intros are short personal cards — your supporter's picture, name and a welcome line — that play the moment they join your TikTok LIVE. It's one of the best ways to make regular gifters feel seen. TikFinity can trigger them automatically. Here's how.
1. Get an intro for each supporter
Each supporter needs their own video with their picture and name. On our Supporter intros page you add each supporter's TikTok @, pick a style, and get one transparent .webm per supporter, named after them.
2. Create the action in TikFinity
- Open TikFinity and go to Actions & Events.
- Create a new Action and choose the option to play a video.
- Upload the supporter's .webm. Optionally add a sound — our intros are silent on purpose so you can pick your own.
3. Trigger it when they join
- Create an Event that runs on a viewer joining.
- Limit it to that supporter's username, so it only plays for them.
- Link it to the action you just made.
4. Add the overlay once
Add TikFinity's overlay URL to TikTok LIVE Studio (or OBS) as a browser source. You only do this once — every intro you add later plays through it.
Menu names can differ slightly between TikFinity versions, but the idea is always Action (what to play) + Event (when to play it).
